Electrical Engineering
The Department of Electrical
Engineering (DEE) is a teaching and research unit of the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of
Bragança. We are commited with the teaching, research and services provision to the community in
the several scientific areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
The department collaborates in the teaching of several study cycles, namely in Professional Technical
Higher Courses, which comprise an advanced training of short duration and in Bachelor's and Master's
Degree Programs of the School of Technology and Management.
The members of the department develop research work in various fields of science, with special focus in
the areas of Automation and Control, Electronics and Instrumentation, Power Systems, Telecommunications
and Signal Processing.
The DEE has 11 full time members with PhD.
